LG G3 Screen sports a 5.9-inch display and LG’s own application processor

LG tonight took the wraps off LG G3 Screen (as previously expected), marking the first smartphone to be powered by LG’s own processor.

The NUCLUN is an 8-core ARM-based big.LITTLE processor pushing four Cortex-A15 processors at 1.5GHa and (that’s the high-power, lowercase “big”) and four Cortex-A7 processors at 1.2 GHz (that’s the low-power, uppercase LITTLE — get it?) that also supports LTE-A for max theoretical download speeds of 225 Mbps.

The Screen’s design is in line with the LG G3, only bigger, with this new processor, and a lower-resolution display. It’s running Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
