About Kingpin

Kingpin takes you into the streets with a bloody, first-person shooter from the creators of Redneck Rampage. Starting out as a lowly tough, you must obtain weaponry, meet your unseemly neighbors, recruit gang members, and knock your way to the top of the hoods' pecking order.

Wine configuration

This is with a clean configuration directory and running in a 1024x768 virtual desktop.

$ winecfg

Once the .wine directory is built the configuration tool will start and you can set a virtual desktop in the graphics tab if you wish. This is a good time to also set your Audio driver in the Audio tab.

Kingpin install

The full game or demo should install without any problems, if your installing from the game CD just mount the CD and change directory to where the setup.exe is located and run $wine setup.exe

Kingpin first run

cd to the install directory and run $wine kingpin.exe and the game should run without any problems.
